eSmarts has been concerned about Shopping.com's
ability to ship orders and handle customer service problems for several months. Shopping.com still has
some problems, but many of their departments are shipping items with no delays. Most of the previous problems were isolated to computer products and consumer electronics.
Their customer service call center is still experiencing busy signals and long hold times when calls get through.
We met with management of Shopping.com, and they assured us that they are working hard to fix all customer service issues.
Shopping.com will open another customer service call center within the next few months to properly handle the customer service calls.
We have since tested out their claims and ordered several books and CDs which were delivered with no problems.
We continue to be hesitant on placing orders with Shopping.com and recommend that you do the same.
