alt.bookstore seems to be running into problems. Their database is no longer updated with new books, and calls to their phone number are diverted to an answering machine, which states the mailbox was full. eSmarts recommends avoiding the site until further notice.

Checked again on November 3, 1998 and the mailbox is still full.
