an Internet long distance plan or using a service that routes your call over the Internet.
Internet Long Distance Plans
Several long distance companies offer long distance plans designed for Internet users. These plans eliminate
the printed bill and charge call to your credit card. And, you must check your bill online. Plans
Internet Telephony
A few companies are able to offer cheap long distance rates by routing your calls over the Internet.
Expect rates of about 5¢ to 9¢ per minute (within the US). We tried the
service on a few of these systems, and in general, we found that the call quality was lower
than that of a regular long distance call, but still acceptable. Plans
