Nation's second largest Visa/Mastercard issuer, and third-largest bank lender to small businesses. Owns Wingspan.
3. Key Bank - One of the nation's largest integrated multi-line financial services companies, with assets of about $83 billion. Online banking services include a one-stop shop for personal and business banking, online shopping, investments, and retirement center.
4. American Express Membership Banking - Division of AMEX, Internet-only bank launched in July 1999. Offers online brokerage services, full line of personal savings and checking accounts; online perks include financial planning tools and financial calculators.
5. Bank of America - Offers an abundance of products and services to small businesses, consumers, and commerical customers. Also offers helpful online tools to assist opening an account online, a service that other Internet banks don't offer.
