Before you buy, do your homework - you don't want to overpay. Visit a couple of stores that sell the item and check their price. Remember to deduct a fairly substantial percentage from the cost of the new merchandise if the item is refurbished. Bid early. Most auctions, assign priority based on the first time you place a bid for a particular item. If someone else bids more, you just need to match their price and your higher priority will prevail.
